On December 31st, JTF hosted the first NYE Family Celebration at the Frostburg Armory. Looking to fill the need for family-centered New Year’s Eve events, JTF organized a party filled with activities, food, music, and fun for local families.
We packed the Frostburg Armory with as many activities as we could which included archery tag, laser tag, ping pong, cornhole, over-sized checkers, over-sized connect 4, crafts, and a photo booth. Families came out and played together. We had around 60 attendees.
Another important part of the night was the donation drive for the Allegany County Animal Shelter. We collected a load of donations and gave away a $100 Sheetz gift.
At “midnight”, we had a uniquely JTF ball drop. Using one of our bubble soccer balls dressed up with flashing lights, we rang in the New Year.
