On September 18, 2018, JTF held a Dodgeball Tournament at the Frostburg Armory. Five teams comprosided of 33 participants from all over the Tri-State Region competed for cash prizes and the pride to be called champions.
The five teams were - Shuckin N Jivin, Average Jacks, Blue Strike Force I, Blue Strike Force II, and the Average Joe’s. The tournament was a triple elimination format. The competition was fierce but in the end the Average Joe’s came out on top. Shuckin and Jivin followed in second place and the Average Jacks came in third place.
As a part of the tournament, participants signed thank you cards which were sent to First Responders in the areas affected by Hurricane Florence. Additionally, the Average Jacks donated back their prize money which will be sent to the American Red Cross. The generosity and giving spirit of the area was on full display!
